Artist's statement:
"For centuries art has associated itself with a depth of meaning that seems to be lost in the modern era. Ancient or "non modern" art represented a meaning, story, allegory or simple beauty. All of which would have a profound impact in one way or another. Modern art represents a modern society with too much time on its hands where a light bulb switching on or off can help win a Turner prize. What a load of bollocks!"
